LIFT loves the Human Race! For four years, LIFT has been an enthusiastic participant in the Race, including sponsoring the Zumba and Youth warm-ups. We especially love the sense of community that is built and the enduring partnerships we have created.
LIFT’s participation in the race has created opportunities to attract new staff and volunteers, supporters and community partners. In addition to the fundraising activities, its an opportunity for us to reach out and share how we build healthy, equitable communities to hundreds of interested participants all in one morning.
We are setting our fundraising goal higher this year as LIFT Board members, partners and youth groups are running on our behalf, each cultivating sponsor support from their various networks. The Race has provided us with a platform to engage a wide range of supporters.
